Apalagon is from Greek language meaning exemption or quit. I worked with composer Dimitris Mavrofidis whose music of the same title as the dance had physics and stochastic theories in mind. The dance improvisatin branches from these ideas (the ability to battle and quit) and combine wtih idea that bodies are magnetic forces; the power spectrum between these forces give a charateristic to the dance that tis is a due to dhynamic fluctuations, especially that of spinning.
