As the recipient of the Ida and Cecil Green Honors Professor Award (2000), at Texas Christian University, I was commissioned to create new choreography with video accompaniment. The resulting work, Split, was created over a one-week period and involved six live dancers (selected by audition )from TCU and two virtual/screen dancers (developed at UC, Irvine Blue Screen Studio). Split premiered at the Dancing with the Mouse Conference in October 2000. Stage and screen choreography by Lisa Naugle, video processing by John Crawford, music by Norman Beade.
