The Summer Academies in the Arts are college and career preparatory intensives in Art, Dance, Drama, and Music focused on practical and technical skill development for experienced high school and college arts students on campus at UC Irvine.

WHAT is this about?

Students will improve their technical base focused on ballet, modern, jazz and hip hop, as well as various other in-studio and classroom-based topics in dance. Modeled on our college-level dance program, students experience life as an undergraduate dance major.

WHO is this for?

For experienced high school or college students seriously considering pursuing an education or career in dance.
