Presented by the Department of Dance, Dance Visions 2026 is the department’s annual premier showcase highlighting the range and depth of faculty choreography. Featuring original works performed by UCI’s exceptional dance students, the concert blends contemporary and classical forms with theatrical and musical elements.
This annual premier dance concert of the season presents exhilarating choreography by the UCI Dance faculty, showcasing the talent of undergraduate and graduate performers. Works in a variety of genres will be staged and choreographed by Lar Lubovitch, Charlotte Griffin, Chad Michael Hall, Loretta Livingston, and Tong Wang.
The "East Meets West" International Dance and Music Festival celebrates global artistry. The showcase is a collaboration with regional and international partners. This year the program features UCI Dance, Southland Ballet Academy, classical Indian dance soloist Sukanya Kumar, Beijing Dance Academy, Yaya Dance Academy, international opera star KeLuwa and Erhu player, Zhang Shunxiang.
